Payment Protection Plan - What the Payment Protection Plan does for you?
The possibility of an injury or illness keeping you from working is very real. And during a time of extended disability, your income is reduced and your expenses increase, making it difficult to meet your new monthly loan obligation.
With the Payment Protection Plan, if a disability keeps you from working, the Plan will make your monthly payments until you can return to work, or until the loan is paid off, whichever comes first*.
In addition, the Plan will pay off the scheduled balance of your new loan in the event of your death*. This is an easy choice for those wanting to protect their loved ones from additional hardship due to death. This protection is available for the borrower (single) or the borrower and co-borrower (joint protection).
Sharefax Credit Union recommends these coverage's on all new loans. It is an affordable and inexpensive way to ease the financial burden that your death or extended disability would place on your loved ones.
Ask your Loan Officer or call Sharefax for more information about the Payment Protection Plan.
