While we use cookies in other parts of our Web site, cookies received with banner ads may be collected by an ad company, and we do not have access to this information. Cookies on https://www.sharefax-online.orgSharefax-Online uses cookies to manage the navigation buttons & manage the server session state. Active Server Pages automatically generate a cookie for each user that connects to the server. No member information is stored in the cookie. They expire as soon as the browser is closed & are deleted as soon as the member logs off. Sharefax-Online stores no information other than page markers. SecurityThis site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. Member SecurityFor the member's protection of confidential data Sharefax-Online employs two forms of security: Dual Password Protection and Data Encryption. Dual Password Protection requires the user to enter a second password, in addition to the four digit PIN to ensure account information is not accessed by unauthorized users.Data Encryption is a process which transposes the information which is sent from our server to your browser into a code that cannot be understood or altered without using a "key". The "key" deciphers the information from our server to be able to display on your browser.Currently there are two levels of RSA data encryption that our server will provide, 40-bit and 128-bit. 40-bit data encryption is the standard method that is used all over the world for electronic commerce. The use of 128-bit data encryption outside of the United States is strictly prohibited by the U.S. Department of Defense therefore only 40-bit data encryption is currently available for users outside of the United States. If you live within the United States, you should be able to download the 128-bit(Domestic) version of Netscape 4.7, or purchase Netscape from a retail computer store. If you live outside of the United States you can download the 40-bit(Exportable) version of Netscape 4.7. If you already have the "normal" version of Netscape, you are protected by the 40-bit security by default. Network SecurityThe second facet of our security is protection of the credit union's internal network and member information from access by Internet users. The Sharefax-Online server does allow members access from the Internet to their account information, and it contains the programs needed to communicate with our main computer. However the actual account information is not stored on the Sharefax-Online server. The main computer contains the account information and it is protected from Internet access. In this way, we disallow unauthorized access to our network and any private information.
