Call Center Representative

ACCOUNTABILITY
Under the supervision of and accountable to the Call Center Supervisor.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Services members by telephone.
• Provides general credit union information.
• Answers questions about credit union products and services.
• Assists members in making changes to existing accounts and resolving
member issues.
• Assists members with set-up and problem resolution of electronic delivery channels.

· At close of business; balances cash and summarizes daily activity.

· Assists members in setting up new accounts and in making changes in existing accounts.

· Assists members in starting, stopping or changing a payroll deduction.

· Cross-sells member services to members.

Member Solutions Consultant – Evendale

ACCOUNTABILITY

Under the supervision of and accountable to the Branch Manager.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The branch-based Member Solutions Consultant (MSC) is able to meet all member needs within a branch. The MSC will perform a variety of duties, guiding members through the full-range of their requests, from basic teller transactions, to complex credit requests. The MSC will partner with other branch staff to easily transition between responsibilities, depending on branch traffic flow and member needs. The Member Solutions Consultant will utilize a consultative approach to building long-term relationships with members, and recommend financial solutions based on each member’s unique financial needs. This role will also help to support the branch staff and branch operations when the Branch Manager is out of the office.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Counsel members and potential members on interest rates, products and services offered at the credit union.

 

  1. Open new share accounts and certificates. Assist members in the completion of Individual Retirement Account and Share Certificate applications.

 

  1. Process new account information including ordering checks, verifying eligibility, checking for appropriate signatures, filing cards, mailing welcome letters, etc.

 

  1. Assist members with discrepancies and complaints. Make corrections and refunds on accounts if necessary.

 

  1. Process consumer loan applications ensuring that each application is properly documented, closed, disbursed, coordinated and filed.

 

  1. Assist applicants with information on the status of pending loans. Explain reasons for denial and explore options for members when loans are denied.

 

  1. Prepares and mails adverse action notices to rejected loan applicants.

 

  1. Assist members with filing debt protection, credit disability, and credit life insurance claims.

 

  1. Assist branch staff and members in the absence of the Branch Manager. May include opening and closing branch location and assisting with branch balancing functions.

 

  1. Other duties as assigned.
