Non-Maturity Saving Accounts:
Dividends on savings and club accounts are paid monthly using the daily balance method, which applies a daily periodic rate to the balance. Dividend rates on IRA, Coverdell and Education, are tiered rate accounts and paid monthly using the daily balance method. Once a particular range is met, the dividend rate for that balance range will apply to the full balance on your account. Dividend rates on Money Market, HSA, and Maximizer accounts are tiered rate accounts and paid monthly using the daily balance method. Once a particular range is met, the dividend rate for that balance range will apply to the full balance on your account. Dividends on the Champion Club, Student Checking and Rewards Checking are paid monthly using the daily balance method with the listed rate on the balance within each individual range. Dividends on the Business Benefits checking are paid monthly on the average daily balance that applies a daily periodic rate to the weighted sum of daily balances for the month. Withdrawal of dividends will affect the quoted APY. Rates are subject to change, so please go to www.sharefax.org for a list of our current rates.
(1) Should your Maximizer balance drop below the Minimum for APY, you will receive the current Regular Savings Rate. The daily balance dividend calculation method applies a daily periodic rate to the balance each day. This method is used for all products above unless otherwise noted. The dividend rate and annual percentage yield may change at any time at the credit union’s discretion. Current rates will be quoted upon request. Withdrawal of paid dividends will reduce the assumed annual percentage yield.(2) Dividends on the Champion Club are split rates, which means that the dollar amounts within each specific range each day will have dividends calculated separately at the dividend rate for that range and the calculated dividends for each range will be added together to calculate the total dividend paid each quarter. Champion Savers Account is a minor account for Members 17 and younger. Account holders are eligible for Quarterly prize drawings.
