Welcome Home Grant Funds Program
As a member of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati, Sharefax Credit Union can offer Welcome Home grants which must be applied toward the buyer’s down payment and closing costs. Eligible home buyers, honorably discharged veterans and active-duty military may receive Welcome Home grants. Income limits will be in accordance with FHLB guidelines released in January 2024. Eligible Individuals may receive up to $20,000. Eligible honorably discharged veterans, surviving spouses of military personnel, and active-duty military homebuyers may receive up to $25,000.
Welcome Home grants are available for reservation on a first-come, first-served basis starting on March 1st.
Program Features:
- Grant funds up to $10,000 available for homebuyers (to be used for down payment or closing costs).
- Grant funds up to $15,000 available for honorably discharged veterans, active duty military, reservists & surviving spouses of service personnel.
- Funds available for reservation beginning March 1, 2024.
- Funds available on first-come, first-served basis.
- Does not need to be a first time homebuyer, but the subject property must be their primary residence.
- Funds can be used for purchase of 1-4 unit properties & construction loans.
